Eligibility and Application Process

Eligibility

Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in good standing at one of CERSA’s founding universities — North Carolina State University or Louisiana State University. Students in the Regulatory Agriculture Certificate Program will be given preference, unless otherwise stated in the project abstract.

Prior to the internship, students must complete one or more of the regulatory science courses offered through CERSA.

Application Process

Applications will be reviewed by a multi-stakeholder panel, consisting of the CERSA director and co-director, program manager, and the professional mentors involved in a given year. Mentors will then be matched with accepted students based on program needs and preferences. CERSA will do regular check-ins with each of the participants, and make adjustments as necessary. Applications can be found here.
